“Creativity is the tool that sheds light on our darkness.”

Who is P.N.

Hey there! I am Pragashnie Naidoo.

Welcome, and thank you for popping in for a brief moment with me. My life’s journey so far has been an exciting blend of academic curiosity and holistic wellness. My academic milestones include a BSc in Health Science and a Master’s in Education, completing my Honours in Psychology, and enthusiastically gearing up for a PhD adventure at UKZN (2026), with a focus on the intersection of philosophy, religion, psychology, and public health.

I began my journey in complementary health therapy in 1999, encompassing areas like client-centred hypnotherapy, aromatherapy, reflexology, Kahuna massage, dance, and meditation classes. While I find labels somewhat limiting, the philosophical ethos I align with centres on life learning, conscious living, humanitarianism, humanism, atheism, minimalism, artivism, critical thinking, and reasoning.

Over time, I became passionate (this word is not used lightly) about Children’s Rights, Education, Psychology, Philosophy, Humanitarianism, and Writing, among other arts, it became my creative outlet. These self-taught interests have gracefully morphed into the focal pursuits of my life.

With a blend of writing, public health promotion, lay counselling, and education as my tools, my mission is to catalyse positive change, helping individuals surmount their challenges and reach their full potential. Through these channels, I aim to help build a nurturing environment that fosters both personal and communal growth, creating a harmonious ripple effect across the layers of our society.

However, I am acutely aware of the systemic structures that often set the socio-economic default for vulnerable populations, shaping access, opportunity, and outcomes long before individual choice comes into play. This awareness informs my approach, recognising that individual-level interventions must be understood within and engaged alongside the broader structural conditions that influence lived experience.
